Fraudulent and unethical practices
Fraudulent and unethical practices. Was shopping for tickets in two cities. The unfinished order somehow went through and was charged without me finalizing it. SeatGeek promised refund to original form of payment but was give credit for future purchase instead. They admitted they had on a recorded line that they told me they would provide refund to original form of payment but would not correct the error and provide refund.

Never again
Recently tried to buy tickets to a NFL game. The tickets were advertised at a cheaper price than the usual ticket source that I use. Once I purchased them and received confirmation I got an email about 20 minutes later saying that they couldn’t process my order. I attempted to make the purchase 2 more times and kept getting the same message. I tried using 2 different credit cards thinking that may be the issue, but got the same result. They only have a virtual chat so you can’t call and get issues resolved quickly. This was my first and last attempt at using them. Went to my usual ticket source and got the same seats with no problem.

Seller doesn’t deliver and SeatGeek fails to fix it
Purchased and had confirmed on June 12 eight Taylor Swift tickets for June 24. On June 23, I received notice my seller doesn’t have the tickets and I am offered replacement tickets which were less than half the value of my confirmed tickets. Comparable tickets were available but SeatGeek wouldn’t buy them. I refused poor replacement deal and bought on StubHub.

I don't think this is a real business
I don't think this is a real business. They sent an email the day of my event and said the seller cancelled my tickets. Then I sat on hold for 2 hours waiting for them to get alternate tickets- the website and other ticket sellers had plenty of tickets available. In the end I missed my show and no refund. Do not do business with these people.

Terrible Service - Ticket Delivery
Purchased a parking pass for the US Open. Website shows 30 minute delivery, received the pass 12 hours later - after the tournament round for the day was over. No way to contact them either (or at least not obvious to me) to work a solution. SeatGeek did respond to me a couple of days later and refunded the purchase - which was great, but really needed the tickets. Anyway - Understand things happen.

Tixs from Seatgeek invalid
Ordered tickets for a tigers game and received the email from seatgeek later that day stating the tickets they sold be were not valid according to the seller. They said there were no other seats available at a similar price… that was not true. I bought new ticks right behind home plate for a total of $15 more from Seatgeek. The first time I chatted with seatgeek they said they going to issue the 20% via check but the chat unexpectedly ended. I then called and was told I need PayPal account. I replied and said I would prefer paper check. Called and was intentionally disconnected. Sent another email, it was ignored. I called again a support said I had the options. This time I was offered a promo code credit, I was placed on hold and she never came back… I hung up after 59 minutes. Still no resolution. Im reaching out regarding your recent purchase of Atlanta Braves at Detroit Tigers on 6/14/2023. Unfortunately, the seller of your order informed us that the barcode for these tickets will not be valid for entry and should not be used. While these situations are rare, when they do happen, we want to make sure that you're taken care of. Our normal resolution is securing replacement tickets that are comparable to or better than the ones you originally ordered. Unfortunately, there are no comparable tickets left available on the market, so we’d like to offer you a refund of 120%. Our payment processor only allows us to return up to 100% to your original payment method, so the additional 20% must be issued to you via PayPal. Please let me know your PayPal email address, and we’ll be happy to get your refund processed. If we do not hear from you within 5 business days, we’ll process the 100% refund automatically. You can still follow up with us any time after that, and we’ll be happy to take care of the additional 20% refund once we hear from you. Please note that due to unprecedented volume, refunds are currently taking longer to process. We appreciate your patience in advance. If you’d like to discuss this further, please respond with the best phone number and time to reach you and I’ll be happy to give you a call. Thanks, Alejandro at SeatGeek

Frustrating Experience with SeatGeek's Password Unlock Process
I recently had a disappointing experience with SeatGeek's password unlock process, and I felt compelled to share my thoughts. I needed to purchase tickets for an event that was happening at that very moment, but unfortunately, I couldn't access my SeatGeek account because I had forgotten my password. Upon realizing my predicament, I immediately reached out to SeatGeek's customer support for assistance. To my dismay, they informed me that it would take approximately two hours to unlock my password and regain access to my account. This was highly inconvenient, as the event I wanted to attend was already underway, and I needed to secure my tickets promptly. The fact that it would take such a significant amount of time to unlock my password was frustrating and seemed excessive, especially considering the urgency of my request. I understand that security measures are necessary, but I would have expected a more efficient and expedited process, especially from a ticketing platform like SeatGeek. The lack of immediate access to my account put me in a difficult situation, and I was unable to purchase tickets for the event in a timely manner. This not only resulted in my disappointment but also meant missing out on an experience I was eagerly looking forward to. While SeatGeek is generally known for its wide selection of tickets and user-friendly interface, this particular incident left me with a negative impression. I believe they should consider implementing a more streamlined process for unlocking passwords or provide alternative methods for urgent situations like mine. I hope SeatGeek takes customer feedback into consideration and finds ways to improve their password unlock process, ensuring that users can quickly regain access to their accounts in situations where time is of the essence.

The seat map on SeatGeek can be misleading
The seat map on SeatGeek can be misleading. Even though there was an arrow that pointed to a specific seat in a specific row which I thought I was purhasing, once I bought the tickets I found that they were elsewhere in the same section, and much further away than where the arrow printed. Also once I bought the tickets I was handed over to Ticketmaster which actually had possession of the tickets, and where I was connected to my seats from then on. Again, know that the arrow that SeatGeek displays when you are buying tickets is actually not a specific location, it is at best a row.

NO REFUNDS EVER. RUN AROUND for Customer (Dis)Service!
When I bought my tickets the implied "handling fee" was shown as if it was for entire transaction. Once I paid for the tickets, I was charged the Handling Fee for EACH ticket!? This fee is 50% of the ticket price! On the checkout page, there is NO mention of the "No REFUNDS" policy...you have to go to a different web link to get the bad news! It is Supposed to be ON the page where the transaction will be finalized. Multiple attempts to cancel the transaction immediately, were met with Copy n Paste answers from DEEEP in the "Small Print" page, OR : "We're Sorry, we can't refund due to ..... , OR: Suggestions to sell my tickets back thru the App... The tickets that have a 50% premium on them!?

Lost access to my tickets that where for sale without a sale happening
SeatGeek doesn't get back to me after chats, emails, and calls and it doesn't look like they address bad reviews. A company that doesn't respond to bad reviews is a company that doesn't care for its customers. For six straight days I have been trying to access my tickets on the MLB app. I had them for sale on Seat Geek but took down the listing. MLB thinks I still have the tickets for sale so I can't use the tickets to go to the ballpark or transfer them. MLB redirects me to SeatGeek. SeatGeek picks up the phone and chats and promises to help, but they never get back to you with a solution They never flow up to say they are working on it and they never respond to emails. There is just a powerless agent on the phone/chat telling you they are sorry and someone will get back to me right away. Based on my experience with Seat Geek I would never sell MLB tickets on their platform. It has bugs and no customer support.

Terrible
Bought tickets and it decided to charge my account two different times and then not give me the tickets. Then had to wait a week before they finally returned the money and didn’t get to go to the game. Very disappointed and probably won’t use again unless they make it right.
